Street Dancer Box Office Collection Day 1: Check The First Day Occupancy And Box Office Collection Of Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor Starrer Street Dancer 3D.
Two most awaited movies of 2020, Street Dancer 3D and Panga have released today. Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starrer dance film ‘Street Dancer 3D’ is off to an average opening. Released on 3700 screens, the film recorded around 20% occupancy in the morning shows on Friday.
The opening is on the same lines as Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. However, the problem for Street Dancer 3D is that the word of mouth and reviews are on a negative side. The film may not witness much growth in the evening and night shows.
Early reports suggest that the film saw limited growth in occupancy in the noon shows. This is a worrying signal for the producers as the stakes are high. Poor performance on the first day will make things difficult in the coming days.
The trade experts were expecting a huge opening from the film. I still believe that Street Dancer 1st day collection would be around Rs 13 crore unless it witnesses huge growth in the evening and night shows.
The budget of the film is more than Rs 100 crore. It is the most expensive and biggest dance film in the Indian cinema. With a mammoth budget, the film has a pressure to perform at the box office. Lifetime collection below Rs 100 crore would be a big setback for the film. It would be interesting to see, how the film performs in the coming days.
