After a drop of around 55% on Monday compared to the collection on Friday, the movie remained rock solid on Tuesday. Student Of The Year 2 5th day box office collection is 5.02 crores. Thus, the total collection after 5 days stands at 49+ crores. The movie will cross 50 crore mark today.
After receiving poor reviews and negative WOM, SOTY 2 was expected to crash on weekdays but it managed to stay afloat. The first week total would be around 56 crores.
First day collection: 12.06 crores
Second day collection: 14.02 crores
Third day collection: 12.75 crores
First weekend collection: 38.83 crores

Student Of The Year 2 Lifetime collection (Expected)
SOTY 2 budget (including promotion and advertising cost) is 70 crores. It needs to earn 75+ crores to become a box office hit. The hold in the second week will decide if it can cross 75 crore mark. It seems that the lifetime collection of the movie would be around 70 crores.
Ajay Devgn’s De De Pyaar De have a similar target audience as Student Of The Year 2. It would be interesting to see, how much SOTY 2 collection will get affected after the release of De De Pyaar De.
Student Of The Year 2 is a sequel to 2012 hit film Student Of The Year. It marks the debut of Tara Sutaria and Chunky Pandey daughter Ananya Panday.
