Bollywood divas Swara Bhasker and Payal Rohatgi fight gets ugly
Swara Bhasker claims she has no valid documents to stay in India as per CAA and NRC. The viral video of the interview has attracted major Twitter trolling and hate for the actress.
Swara Bhasker has become a soft target for Twitter trolls ever since she became a protester of CAA in Delhi. The actress was spotted in Delhi protesting against the CAA. After the protests, the actress was caught by the reporters for a quick interview which ultimately lead to all the trolling later.

In the interview video that has now gone viral, Swara is being asked about her views on the Citizenship Amendment Act and National Register of India. Her response was – “Of course I’m scared. I don’t have a birth certificate, passport or any legal documents. What will happen when the act gets implemented?” The 10-second video has gone viral on all social media channels, especially Twitter where Swara is being bashed by Netizens.
The Twitter trolls began questioning how Swara was able to travel to so many countries without a passport. They also questioned about her degree in ‘Master of Sociology’. Trollers brutally asked new-age actors to take inspiration from Swara and remain shut when they have no clue of the reality of CAA and NRC. All that trolling and shaming has made #SwaraBhasker trend on Twitter all day.

Actress Payal Rohtagi, who’s also been previously involved in a tiff with Swara also came out to bash her. Payal took to Twitter to share her views on the ongoing discussion about Swara’s monologue. She tweeted, ‘राम राम जी Who the hell are You ? Swara ? No IT cell recognises U. Hope U get thrown out of India soon as U said U are Not an Indian Citizen. She is illegal immigrant@PMOIndia #payalrohatgi’. This hateful tweet didn’t surprise us much because the two have always taken jibes at each other and played it dirty on Twitter. This whole act of bringing Swara down didn’t go down well with the ‘Veere Di Wedding’ star who responded with a sly tweet. For the uninitiated, Payal and Swara have been involved in a Twitter battle of words since 2 January 2020 when Swara first tweeted about social activist Sadaf Jafar and friend Deepak Kabir being locked up in jail for protesting against CAA in Lucknow. She openly revolted against the UP Police who’ve illegally captured the two innocent. Payal replied to her tweet accusing Swara of being anti-national and publicity seeker. She also said that Swara very comfortably chose to remain shut when everyone was talking about #FreePayal back in the day. In the battle of words, Swara responded by saying that she had tweeted about #FreePayal and called her out for ‘vomiting poison’ without checking facts. Payal called Swara ‘zehreeli aunty’ in her ext tweet and since then the two have been mudslinging each other.

Anti-Swara tweeples have called out Swara for influencing innocent Indian Muslims and Anti-Payal team is sure that Payal is being paid to tweet in favour of the government and take down anyone who bashes the centre.
