Tanhaji box office collection day 3: Ajay Devgn starrer goes big on Sunday (third day), crosses Rs 60 crore mark in just 3 days.
Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan starrer Tanhaji: The Unsung Hero is unstoppable at the box office. Released on 3880 screens, the film recorded excellent collections on Sunday. The film witnessed a growth of around 30% on Sunday which is simply terrific. The first-weekend collection of the film stands at Rs 60+ crore.

Tanhaji is doing exceptional business in the Mumbai belt. As per box office India report, the film has collected Rs 27 crore in Mumbai which is simply outstanding. The film is benefited by local Maratha flavour in the Mumbai belt. Moreover, the Marathi version of the film is also getting good response in the state.
In the rest of India, the numbers vary from good to very good. In CP, Berar and Nizam/Andhra circuit, the film has performed well. Delhi and NCR circuits have seen good growth over the weekend after an average start on Friday. The film collected around Rs 9 crore in Delhi/UP which is strictly average.
The film has performed well in the first weekend thanks to positive word of mouth and superb reviews. An excellent trend over the opening weekend has ensured a superb hold on Monday. Tanhaji is all set to become Ajay Devgn’s 11th 100 crore film. The hold on weekdays will decide the fate of the film at the box office.

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is a mega-budget film. The total budget of the film including the promotion and advertising cost is around Rs 170 crore. It should cross Rs 200 crore mark to become a box office hit. It would be interesting to see if the film can cross this number. The opening is good and all it requires is a good hold on weekdays.
