The film is unstoppable at the box office even in its fourth week. It is performing better than this week releases Jawaani Jaaneman and last week releases Street Dancer 3D and Panga. Ajay Devgn film has exceeded all expectations. Before the release, trade experts were not confident about it but it has proved everyone wrong.
Coming to Tanhaji’s box office journey, it got off to a pretty good opening, collecting Rs 15.3 crore on the first day. It remained super-strong throughout the first week and collected Rs 118.91 crore. In the second week, Ajay Devgn’s film saw a drop of just 30% and collected more than Rs 78 crore.
On the 15th day of its release, Tanhaji entered the elite Rs 200 crore club. The film recorded the fourth-highest third week of all time with the collection of Rs 40.18 crore. Now, it is going super staring in the fourth week and has collected Rs 13+ crore in three days.
The total collection of the film after 24 days would be around Rs 252 crore. With the current pace and trend, Tanhaji will definitely cross Rs 275 crore mark. The film has an outside chance to enter Rs 300 crore club. However, to make this happen, the film has to perform well in the fifth and sixth week.
