Tiger Shroff announces sequel of his debut film ‘Heropanti 2’. Directed by Ahmed Khan, the first look of ‘Heropanti 2 ‘looks similar to Keanu Reeves’ John Wick series. ‘Heropanti 2’ will release in theaters on 16 July 2021.
Tiger Shroff is on a roll these days with not one but two back-to-back sequel films in his kitty. The actor is gearing up for the release of his Ahmed Khan film ‘Baaghi 3’ with Shraddha Kapoor.
Tiger took to his Instagram to share the first look of his second franchise film ‘Heropanti 2′ this morning. The first look seems inspired by Keanu Reeves’ John Wick series. Not just the poster but Tiger’s look too in it is giving us major John Wick-esque vibes.
‘Heropanti’ marked Tiger Shroff’s Bollywood debut with Kriti Sanon in 2014. The film didn’t exactly kill it at the Box Office but Tiger Shroff’s performance was praised all over. Earlier director Ahmed Khan had announced that he would turn ‘Heropanti’ into a franchise. Hence, we have ‘Heropanti 2’ featuring lead protagonist Tiger Shroff looking dapper in a pantsuit with a red tie. In the poster, Tiger is seen heading straight towards a bunch of guns pointing at him while he walks with a machine gun in his hand. The poster of the film reads ‘The world wants him dead’. The second poster too reads the same line but this time Tiger is standing in the middle of a pool of bright lights while sticking close to his machine gun.
In his caption, Tiger mentioned that ‘Heropanti 2’ is a special film for him. He also thanked his mentor Sajid Sir for joining him on another franchise. ‘Heropanti 2’ will be helmed by director-choreographer Ahmed Khan and produced by Nadiadwala & Grandsons. The second instalment of the ‘Heropanti’ franchise will release in theaters on 16 July 2021. In the meanwhile, Tiger Shroff will be seen in action-thriller ‘Baaghi 3’ on 6 March 2020. The film also happens to be the third edition of the ‘Baagji’ franchise where Tiger Shroff plays the lead protagonist Ronnie Singh.
