Total Dhamaal 1st Week Box Office Collection: Directed by Indra Kumar, Total Dhamaal had a superb opening week as it earned more than 90 crores.
As predicted by us, Ajay Devgn’s multi-starrer comedy movie Total Dhamaal had a superb opening week at the domestic box office.
Released last Friday, this illogical comic movie earned 94.55 crores in the first week despite being a non-holiday release. Trade expert Taran Adarsh shared the first-week box office report on Twitter. He tweeted:
#TotalDhamaal packs a superb total in Week 1, despite non-holiday release… Mass circuits/Tier-2 cities excellent… Metros/plexes good… Fri 16.50 cr, Sat 20.40 cr, Sun 25.50 cr, Mon 9.85 cr, Tue 8.75 cr, Wed 7.05 cr, Thu 6.50 cr. Total: ₹ 94.55 cr. India biz.

After a superb opening weekend with the collection of 62 crores, the movie remained rock-steady on weekdays to post good first-week numbers. As Taran tweeted, Total Dhamaal performed exceptionally well in the mass circuits and Tier-2 cities.
#TotalDhamaal has found widespread acceptance by families/kids… This factor will ensure ample footfalls in Weekend 2, despite two significant releases: #LukaChuppi and #SonChiriya… Week 2 will give an idea of its *lifetime biz* and whether it will touch/cross ₹ 150 cr.

Despite poor reviews from critics, the movie has been accepted by the families and kids. The franchise factor has also worked in the factor in favour of the movie.
Despite two big releases today, Luka Chuppi and Sonchiriya, Total Dhamaal will be the first choice for the moviegoers in the mass centres, medium and Tier-2 cities.
Made on a budget of 105 crores, Total Dhamaal needs to cross 125 crore mark to be called a hit at the box office. It should achieve this number by the end of the second weekend.
The trending over the second week will give a clear idea of its lifetime collection. The movie still has a gas left to touch 175 crore mark.
