Vicky Kaushal has emerged as one of the top actors of Bollywood in the last 2-3 years. Having delivered some mind-blowing performances last year in films like Raazi, Sanju and Manmarziyaan, the actor is at the top of his game. Vicky started 2019 with on a strong note with his film Uri: The Surgical Strike emerged blockbuster with the lifetime collection of 240+ crores.
Vicky has some very interesting projects in his kitty and one of them is Udham Singh biopic that is being directed by Shoojit Sircar. The actor has already started working on the film and big news about it is making rounds in the media.
A report in Mumbai Mirror states that the film will hit the big screens on Gandhi Jayanti next year. Shoojit Sircar confirmed the same to the publication as he said, “Yes, we will be releasing the film on October 2, 2020. Keeping in mind the remaining shoot schedule, post-production and the time required to complete the film, my producers and good friends Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar advised this date for a feasible release next year and I have decided to go with it.”
The first schedule of the film was wrapped up in May and the second schedule will start in October. Reports suggest that a major four-month shoot will start from October and end in January. The film will be shot in locations like Russia, the United Kingdom, Europe and North India.

In April, Vicky Kaushal shared his first look from the film which took the internet by storm. The film is based on Indian revolutionary, Udham Singh, who shot dead General Reginald Dyer, Michael O’Dwyer to avenge Jallianwala Bagh Massacre of 1919.
