Uri 4th Day Box Office Collection: Vicky Kaushal starrer war-drama Uri: The Surgical Strike witnessed big numbers on Monday thanks to Makar Sankranti partial holiday.

Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam, and Paresh Rawal starrer war-drama Uri: The Surgical Strike is unstoppable at the domestic box office. After a huge opening weekend with the collection of 35.73 crores, Uri recorded superb numbers on Monday thanks to partial holiday due to Makar Sankranti.

As per the report in Box Office India, Uri 4th day box office collection is 10.51 crores. Despite a partial holiday, this is a very hold for a movie which recorded huge numbers in the opening weekend. In fact, the collection on Monday is higher than Friday, which clearly shows that the movie has found appreciation among the audience.

Uri: The Surgical Strike: Box Office journey

So far, it’s been a superb box office journey for Uri: The Surgical Strike. The movie recorded superb opening and earned 8.2 crores on Friday. It witnessed superb growth on Saturday and Sunday to end the first weekend on a positive note.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Uri stars Vicky Kaushal, Yami Gautam and Paresh Rawal in the lead roles. It is based on Surgical Strike conducted by the Indian army in September 2016. The movie has received tremendous response from the critics, audience and film fraternity.

Released on 2200 screens, Uri stands at the collection of around 45 crores after four days of its release. It has exceeded expectations as most of the trade experts were expecting 25 crores opening weekend from the film.

Estimated to be made on a budget of around 30 crores, URI is the first hit film of 2019. With a strong hold on Monday, the movie has a strong chance to earn 60+ crores in the first week. With no big releases on coming Friday, Uri should enjoy another good week at the box office.
