Uri 8th Day Box Office Collection: Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike is unstoppable at the domestic box office. The movie earns huge 8 crores on its second Friday.

There is no stopping Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike at the domestic box office. After a huge opening week with the collection of 70.94 crores, the movie has started the second week on a terrific note. As per the reports coming, Uri 8th day box office collection is 7.60 crores. The total collection of the movie after 8 days stands at around 79 crores.

This is a huge number for a film which has already over-performed in the first week. In fact, the second Friday collection of the film is almost equal to the first Friday. This is a feat which no movie has achieved in the recent past.

The release of six new films has no effect on Uri: The Surgical strike as it continues its glorious run at the box office. Talking about the box office journey so far, the movie got off to a tremendous opening earned 8.2 crores. It witnessed huge growth on Saturday and Sunday to end the first weekend with the collection of 35.73 crores.

Benefitted by partial holidays on Monday and Tuesday, Uri remained rock-solid at the box office throughout the weekdays. It earned 35.21 crores on weekdays to take its first week total to 70.94 crores.

Should enter 100 crore club in the second week

With this pace, Uri: The Surgical Strike will cross 100 crore mark in just 10 days. This is a huge achievement for a film which is low on budget and doesn’t have big stars.

The budget of the movie is 42 crores.  With 79 crores in the pocket, it has emerged as the first super hit of 2019. With Emraan Hashmi’s Why Cheat India tanked at the box office on the very first day, Uri is all set for a huge second week. Uri has a good chance to cross 150 crore mark and emerge as the first blockbuster of 2019.
