Course Details & Duration
Bachelor of Pharmacy or B.Pharma course duration is of 4-years, It is a degree course divided into 6-8 semesters which comprises theoretical and practical studies. In the 4-year course curriculum, candidates study the process of formation of drugs & medicine, and dispensing of drugs takes place.
The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) is the regulatory body of pharmacy education in India. PCI is responsible for laying down all norms and regulations for the B.Pharma course. After completing the course candidates can practice as a pharmacist in private organizations, labs, pharmaceutical companies & government healthcare facilities.
Admission Process
After completing the 10+2 in the science stream, candidates have to appear & qualify for the state-level pharmacy entrance exam.
After this candidates have to participate in the state-level counselling process and select the colleges/universities as per their preference, after choice filling & seat locking, candidates will be allotted the colleges as per their rank or marks in the entrance exam.
The average fee for the B.Phama course in 2023 is between 40,000, to 3,20,000 per annum.

For admission to the B.Pharm program one has to fulfill the eligibility criteria given below:
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 with science subjects from a recognized board.
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum 50% marks.
- The minimum age limit for this course is 17 Years for General Category and has certain relaxations for candidates belonging to other categories.
