All the candidates who appeared for the CAT 2022 exam but whose exam didn’t go well can explore other MBA exams as well. MBA exams like CMAT, XAT, IIFT MBA, SNAP, and MAT possess equal value as the CAT exam.
The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a highly competitive exam, and thousands of students take it each year. Solely this year, as many as 2,22,184 candidates took the exam, and 2,56,885 registered for it.

XAT (Xavier Admission Test)
The Xavier Admission Test (XAT) is a national-level MBA entrance test that is held annually for admission to MBA and PGDM programs. The majority of business schools in the nation recognise the XAT results.
The XAT exam will consist of five components in total: essay writing, general knowledge, verbal and logical ability, numeric ability, and data interpretation.
Candidates must pay Rs. 2000 as registration fees in order to take the XAT in 2023. The XAT registration fees can be paid with a credit or debit card, UPI, or online banking.

CMAT (Common Management Admission Test)
The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a nationwide entrance exam for management programs in the country. Some of India’s leading business schools, including Great Lakes Institute of Management, JBIMS, SIMSREE, K. J. Somaiya Mumbai, Welingkar Mumbai, and PUMBA, accept the CMAT score.
100 questions including quantitative techniques and data interpretation, logical reasoning, language comprehension, general awareness, innovation, and entrepreneurship make up the CMAT question paper.
Candidates must pay INR 2,000 (for general category men) or INR 1,000 in order to take the CMAT (for general category females or reserved category students).
IIFT MBA (IB)
The IIFT exam is given by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) in Delhi, Kolkata, and Kakinada as a management aptitude test for admission to its MBA International Business programme.
There will be questions on verbal ability, reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and general awareness on the IIFT MBA question paper.
The IIFT 2023 registration cost for candidates in the general and OBC categories is Rs. 2,500 and reserved category applicants need to pay a registration fee of Rs. 1250.

SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test )
The Symbiosis International (Deemed) University administers the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP), a standard aptitude test. For admission to the MBA and PGDM programmes offered by its 15 component institutes, the SNAP exam is administered.
General English, Quantitative-Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency, and Analytical and Logical Reasoning are all topics covered in the 60 questions that make up the SNAP exam.
Candidates must register and pay a registration fee of Rs. 1950 in order to take the SNAP exam. The SNAP registration fees can be paid by candidates using a credit or debit card, UPI, or online banking.

MAT (Management Aptitude Test)
The All India Management Association administers the Management Aptitude Test (MAT), a national entrance examination. Candidates who want admission to MBA or PGDM programmes take the MAT exam.
The test is given four times a year, in the months of February, May, September, and December. The MAT exam is given in three different formats: paper-based (PBT), computer-based (CBT), and remotely proctored (IBT).
Questions on language comprehension, data analysis and sufficiency, mathematics (quantitative aptitude, intelligence, and critical reasoning), as well as Indian and global environments, will be included on the MAT exam paper.
Candidates must spend INR 1,850 in order to take the MAT (INR 1,100 additionally for the second test mode).
