The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has announced that CLAT for the academic year 2023–24 will only be held once on December 18.

In the press release, the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) stated that CLAT 2023 is scheduled for December 18, 2022. The notice further stated that admissions to the 5-year integrated B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. programmes that commence in the Academic Year 2023-2024 at the 22 participating NLUs shall be through the CLAT 2023 to be held this December.
The authorities made it very clear in the notice that the exam is only held ONCE for admission to each academic year. There will be no additional, second, or other CLAT examinations for admissions to programmes beginning in the Academic Year 2023-2024.

CLAT 2023 Application Deadline

The CLAT 2024 will be held in December 2023 for admissions to the 5-year integrated B.A., LL.B (Hons.) and LL.M. programmes that commence in the Academic Year 2024-2025 at the 22 participating NLUs.
