DU Admission 2022: More than 23,000 students opted for upgradation after the release of the second CSAS merit list, according to a DU official.
According to Delhi University official, More than 23,000 students opted for upgrades from the seats allotted to them in the second round of DU CSAS 2022 seat allocation. 1,008 mid-entry registrations are also recorded by the university.
23 Thousand Students Opted For Upgradation
According to information provided by the institution, more than 23,000 students selected seat upgrades following the publication of CSAS round 2 allocation results. The University of Delhi announced that these candidates have opted for higher programmes and college preferences.
More than 30,500 candidates have been allotted seats, and colleges have frozen their seats. According to university records, more than 15,500 students have been admitted to undergraduate courses across Delhi University colleges in the second round of seat allocation.
DU has a total Of 70 Thousand UG Seats
In total, the University of Delhi has 70,000 undergraduate seats to offer. So far, 61,500 students have already been admitted to the undergrad courses.
The University of Delhi has informed the students on its website about the number of vacant seats after the first two rounds of seat allocation.
The DU UG 2022 admission process began on September 12. The admission process is being conducted in three phases. The first phase was to apply to the university; the second phase was preference filling; and the third phase was seat allotment.
This year, the University of Delhi is admitting students based on CUET scores instead of Class 12 Board marks. On September 12, the university released the CSAS, its admissions and space allocation policy.
