Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has released the notification for the recruitment of Assistant Engineer posts.
According to the HPPSC AE Recruitment notification, the candidates who are eligible may apply before the last date April 12, 2022, No application forms will be accepted after the last date.
HPPSC AE Recruitment 2022 Education & Qualification
The candidates who want to apply for these posts should have a degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) from an institute/university recognized by AICTE or AMIE from the Institute of Engineers (India Calcutta) Needed.
HPPSC AE Recruitment 2022 Age Limit
Whereas the age limit of the candidate should be between 18 to 45 years. However, reserved category candidates will be given relaxation as per the rules of the government.
In addition, candidates should have experience working in design or construction in hilly areas. In addition, one should have knowledge of the customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh.
HPPSC AE Recruitment 2022: Application Fee
The examination fee for the general category and other states candidates applying for the posts of Assistant Engineer (AE) is Rs. 400.
Whereas for Scheduled Castes of Himachal Pradesh, the examination fee is Rs 100/-. There is no fee for ex-servicemen of the state.

HPPSC Recruitment 2022: Selection Process
The selection process will consist of a Personality Test. This test will be a computer-based screening test or an offline screening test of two hours duration.
The marks obtained in the Screening Test will only be considered for narrowing down the number of candidates for the Personality Test.
