The Institute of Banking Personal Selection (IBPS ) is likely to release the notification for the Specialist Officier post in October-November 2022. IBPS SO 2022 will be conducted through three phases: prelims, mains, and interviews for various sectors of the banks.
The prelims exam of IBPS SO 2022 will be conducted on December 21 and 31, while the main exam will be conducted on January 9, 2023. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria on the official website of IBPS (www.ibps.in) before applying for the post. As per the data, over 1 lakh aspirants will appear in this examination for 1828 posts this year.

IBPS SO 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The criteria of selection for IBPS SO 2022 will be different for all the candidates based on the post they are applying for. Aspirants need to fulfill these three parameters, i.e., age limit, education qualification, and citizenship. A resident of India, Tibet refugee(who came to India before January 1, 1962) or of Indian origin who migrated from Nepal, Pakistan, Bhutan, Kenya, United Republic of Tanzania, Namibia, Ethiopia, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Vietnam can apply for IBPS SO 2022.
AGE LIMIT FOR IBPS SO RECRUITMENT 2022
The minimum age limit to apply for the IBPS SO is 20 years, and the maximum is 30 years. ST, SC, and PWBD have an age relaxation of up to 40 years depending upon their category. The application fee for registration is INR 850 for general and INR 175 for ST/SC/PWBD.
Education Qualification and Total Number of Positions
IT Office: Candidates who have completed their engineering degree in computer science, information technology, electrical, computer application, telecommunication, electronic and communication or have done post-graduation in the same or candidates who are graduate and have DOEACC “B” Level can apply for 220 IT officer posts.
Agriculture field officer: Candidates who have graduated with a 4-year degree in agriculture, veterinary science, horticulture, agriculture engineering, dairy science, fishery science, food technology, agriculture marketing and corporation, sericulture, foresty, agriculture biotechnology, agriculture business management, and dairy technology can apply for 884 agriculture field officer vacant posts,
Personnel Officer or HR: Candidates who are post-graduate with a full-time degree or two-year full-time diploma in HR/Personal management/social work and labor law can apply for 61 Personnel Officer or HR posts.
Marketing Officer: Candidates who have completed their Postgraduate with MMS Marketing, MBA, PGDBA, PGDBM, PGPM, or PGDM(specialization in marketing ) can apply for 535 Marketing Officer posts.
Law Officer: Candidates who graduated in law and enrolled as advocates in the Bar Council of India can apply for 44 vacant law officer posts.
Rajbhasha Adhikari: Candidates with a postgraduate degree in English, Hindi, or Sanskrit are eligible to apply for 84 Rajbhasha Adhikari positions.

Follow these steps to complete your registration
Step 1: Go to the official IBPS website (www.ibps.in)
Step 2: On the home page, find and select the link for the IBPS SO 2022 notification.
Step 3: Then complete your application form.
Step 4: Complete and accurately fill out your application form.
Step 5: Select the “Submit” button.
Step 6: Upload your scanned image and signature in the next step and click on “Submit.”
Step 7: Finally, you have to pay the application fee (category-based).
Step 8: Print it for future use.
The result of IBPS SO 2022 will be released on the official website of IBPS. On the basis of mains and interviews, the candidates will be selected and the ratio for selection will be 80:20 .
The merit list will be prepared in descending order of marks obtained by candidates. The shortlisted candidates will get an appointment letter from the bank of their choice.
