The Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi was established in 1919 and is given the status of an Institute of National Importance. Cut-off
For B.Tech. the cutoff is declared by JoSAA after the conclusion of JEE Advanced and counselling. M.Tech. seats are allocated by COAP. The student must hold a high rank in JEE Advanced to make sure of their selection in the course of their choice.
The cutoff depends mainly on the rank of the student, the number of applicants for the course, the availability of seats, the difficulty level of the paper, etc. Candidates should also have a minimum percentage prescribed by the institute in the 12th or equivalent exam or UG exam.
