MET
Every year, the institute holds the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) in three parts to admit students to the BTech and MTech programmes. The exam is conducted online via CBT. MET consists of four sections, namely physics, chemistry, math, and English, with a total of 240 marks. The duration of the exam is two hours. Both multi-choice and numeric-type questions are included in the exam. In addition to that, the university also accepts GATE results for the MTech programme.

The authority will release the cutoff for the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) at counselling.manipal.edu. Candidates who meet the required cut-off and eligibility criteria will appear in the counselling procedure. The cut-off will be based on the following factors:

- Visit the official website of MAHE at https://manipal.edu.
- On the homepage, click on “Apply” and complete your registration with your full name, number, email, programme, and campus location .
- Click on Register and continue to get the login ID and password in your number and email.
