Manipal Institute of Technology, also known as MIT Manipal, is the first self-financed college in India, established in 1957. It is a part of Manipal University that focuses on engineering education. MIT Manipal Admission 2023
Candidates who are interested in applying to the Mahipal Institute of Technology can apply online via the official website of the university. For most of the courses, the university conducts its own entrance exam (MET) for the selection of candidates, while for some courses, admission is based on merit. Every year, the institute holds the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) in three parts to admit students to the BTech and MTech programmes. The exam is conducted online via CBT. MET consists of four sections, namely physics, chemistry, math, and English, with a total of 240 marks. The duration of the exam is two hours. Both multi-choice and numeric-type questions are included in the exam. In addition to that, the university also accepts GATE results for the MTech programme.
The authority will release the cutoff for the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) at counselling.manipal.edu. Candidates who meet the required cut-off and eligibility criteria will appear in the counselling procedure. The cut-off will be based on the following factors:

Candidates who are interested in applying to MIT are advised to complete their application online. The application link is available on the official website of the Manipal Institute of Technology. The steps to successfully fill out the application are provided below:
- Visit the official website of MAHE at https://manipal.edu.
- On the homepage, click on “Apply” and complete your registration with your full name, number, email, programme, and campus location .
- Click on Register and continue to get the login ID and password in your number and email.
- Now login and fill in personal details such as nationality, DOB, number, address, etc.
- Upload the scanned copy of the photograph and signature according to the specifications provided.
- Enter your educational qualification details, such as board, passing year, school name, etc.
- Select the course, stream, category, and test centre location and click on the “Continue to Pay” button.
