The NTA is responsible for conducting the NEET (National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test) in pen-and-paper mode every year. The NEET UG examination is held for admission to various undergraduate medical courses in approved or recognized medical, dental, and AYUSH colleges and other deemed universities and institutions (AIIMS and JIPMER) in India.
The NEET UG examination is organised in 13 different languages across the country and a few cities abroad.

NEET UG 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must have qualified for 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects from a recognised board. The candidates must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2023.
The class 12 percentage required for the NEET 2022 exam is different for each category.
Unreserved category: 50%
OBC/SC/ST: 40%,
PWD – 45%
Candidates can make as many attempts as they want; there are no restrictions on the number of attempts. Candidates who are Indian nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, and foreign nationals are eligible to apply for NEET UG 2023.
