The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the last date to apply for NEET UG 2022 Counselling. Earlier the deadline was yesterday, October 17. However, MCC extended the deadline to submit an application, because MCC has added 197 extra MBBS seats for NEET UG Counseling. Candidates who want to apply for NEET UG 2022 counseling can do it until today at mcc.nic.in
MCC is in charge of conducting counselling for all deemed or central universities, AIIMS, JIPMER, ESIC, or AFMS institutions, and 15% of the All India Quota (AIQ) government seats. In the initial round of counselling, candidates may select as many of their desired colleges or courses as they like.
The State officials are in charge of counselling for the remaining 85% of state-required seats in government colleges. The state counselling offices in the appropriate states also handle applications for admission to private medical and dentistry schools.
