The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started the NEET UG 2022 counselling round 1 registration today, October 11. All the candidates who are interested can start registering online through the official website of MCC, at mcc.nic.in.
15% of the All India Quota (AIQ) government seats must go through counselling, which is the responsibility of MCC. Additionally, the council provides counselling for AIIMS, JIPMER, ESIC, and AFMS, as well as all central or recognized universities.
For the remaining 85% of state-required seats in government colleges, the state authorities are in charge of counselling. Applications for admission to private medical and dental universities are also handled by the state counselling offices in the relevant states.

NEET UG Counselling 2022: Choice Filling & Seat Allotment
For programmes like MBBS, BDS, and BSc nursing, the NEET UG counselling will take place over the course of four sessions. Candidate registration and payment for NEET UG 2022 are open from October 11 to October 17, 2022. Candidates have between October 14 and October 18 to select and lock their preferences.
