NIT Raipur has announced the NIMCET 2021 dates.

NIT Raipur on Wednesday has announced the exam date of NIMCET 2021, the exam will be held on 7th August 2021. The NIMCET exam is conducted every year for admissions in MCA programs offered by NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Patna, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli, and Warangal. 

Earlier, the exam conducting authority has postponed the exam due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic in the country.

As per the latest information on the official website of NIMCET (www.nimcet.in), the NIMCET 2021 entrance test will be conducted on 7th August (Saturday) from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The exam will be conducted through CBT mode in various exam centers across the country.

The official website also stated that the scrutiny of representations received from ineligible candidates as of 24th June 2021 is being carried out by a committee. The result of the scrutiny will be conveyed to concerned candidates through email latest by 15th July 2021. The candidates are advised to wait for an email till the said date regarding their final eligibility status.

With the release of the NIMCET 2021 exam date, the candidates can expect that the admit card will be issued shortly, latest by the 3rd or 4th week of July 2021.

For downloading the admit card, candidates have to visit the NIMCET official website and have to enter their login credentials.

NIMCET Exam Pattern

Candidates appearing for the NIMCET 2021 exam, must check the pattern of the exam.

  • The exam will be held in CBT mode.
  • Language of the test will be English only.
  • The time duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
  • Total 120 questions will be asked carrying 4 marks each.
  • For every wrong answer, one mark will be deducted.
