The Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is the examination to check the eligibility of a candidate for teaching in central and state government schools. TET is conducted at both national and state levels through CTET and TET. CBSE conducts the CTET at the central level, while TET, as mentioned above, is conducted by states such as REET, UPTET, MAHA TET, TS TET, TNTET, OTET, HP TET, KTET, and others.
West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test (WBTET) 2022
WBTPE has released the notification for WBTET 2022 for primary teachers of classes 1 to 5. As per the notification, the application window will open on or after October 14, 2022. The exam will be held on December 11th, 2022 for the recruitment of assistant teachers. The WBTE exam will be conducted for papers 1 and 2. Education qualification for WBTET2022
Paper 1 -Primary TET
Candidates who are interested in applying for WBTET should match the education qualifications as follows:
- 50% in higher/senior secondary and 50% in DEIEd.
- 50% in higher/senior secondary and 50% in BEIEd
- 50% in higher/senior secondary and 50% in RCI.
- Graduation with a 2-year diploma in DEIEd
Paper 2 – Upper Primary TET
The candidate who will appear in Paper 2 should match the education qualification as follows:
- BSc/BA Cleared.
- BEd with a minimum of 50%.
- BEIEd Qualified.
Application Fee
Candidates have to pay a nominal fee of INR 250 for General and OBC and INR 80 for ST/SC/PH-OH/PH-HIPH-VH while filling out their online form.

Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2022
The Haryana teacher eligibility test (HTET) is conducted by the board of secondary education Haryana(BSEH). The exam is conducted to check the eligibility of candidates as PGT, TGT, or PRT. The registration was closed on September 30, 2022, but the application correction window is open till October 3, 2022. The exam for Haryana TET will be held on November 12 and 13, 2022. HTET 2022 Education Qualification
Candidates who are interested in applying for HTET 2022 should match the education qualifications as followed-
- Level 1-50% in higher/secondary education and 50% in DEIEd
- Level 2-Graduation Degree with a BEd
- Level 3-Master’s Degree with BEd
Application Fee for HTET-2022
Candidates have to pay the application fee based on the level at which they are appearing
- One Level – INR 1000
- Two Levels -INR 1800
- Three Levels-INR 2400
Candidates who belong to SC and PH with Haryana Domicile have to pay INR 500 for level 1, INR 900 for level 2, and INR 1200 for level 3 respectively.
Age Limit for HTET 2022
As per the guidance, the minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and the maximum is 38 years.

NOTE
Tamil Nadu TET and Karnataka TET have closed the registration window. The exams will be conducted from October 16 to 20, 2022 for TTET and on November 6, 2022, for KATET.
Other states like Odisha, Kerala, Punjab, Triputi, and Bihar TET exam dates will be announced soon. To apply for the TET 2022, candidates need to keep an eye on the respective websites of the state government or conductive authorities.
