UPSSSC 2022 issued the notification on September 23, 2022 for the Forest Guard (Van Daroga ) post with 701 posts in UPSSSC Jobs. Important Dates
The notification for UPSSSC Forest Guard 2022 was released on September 22. As per the latest notification, the application window will open on October 17, 2022. No applications will be filled in after the last date, but candidates who filled in the form before or on the last date, i.e., November 6, 2022. Candidates who have applied for the post can edit or make corrections until November 13, 2022.
Age Limit
The age limit of candidates who will appear in the examination is a minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 40 years as on July 1, 2022. However, certain categories, such as ST/SC/OBC, may be eligible for age relaxation under government guidelines. All candidates have to pay the nominal fee of INR 185 (General/OBC Category), INR 95 (ST/SC Category), and INR 25 (PWD).
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are requested to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the post. Candidates must have a graduation in science from a recognized university, with subjects such as Math, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. Also, candidates should have a UP PET score card.
Exam Pattern
The UPSSC Forest Guard exam will be conducted in three stages

- Documentation
For PMT and PET candidates, the physical standards of height should match. For a male, it is 168 cm, and for a female, it should be 158 cm. Candidates who belong to the ST category should have a height of 160 and 147 for males and females, respectively.
