On the other hand, the original Hindi releases ‘Ganapath,’ ‘Yaariyan,’ and the Punjabi movie ‘Maujaan hi Maujaan’ are performing below average. Screen allocation should be reconsidered for the new releases.

As ’12th Fail’ receives positive reviews from pre-screening audiences, veteran Tamil actor Kamal Haasan has also praised the movie, chances are high that 12th Fail win this Box office battle with Tejas. Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video is the third movie released on 27th October, but it has a separate audience.

12th Fai opened with Rs 1.10 Crore, which is not bad for a small-budget biographical drama. The makers of ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ have returned with another heroic drama thriller, but Kangana Ranaut’s film missed the mark, and had a poor opening at the box office, said to be around 1.25 Crore, a low start.
