After much hype and anticipation the adventure comedy film 777 Charlie which explores the relationship between a dog and his owner finally been released in cinemas.
The trailer of the film was unveiled on 16 May and has received close to 3 crore views so far, which is a clear indication of its anticipation among the fans.
Debutante director Kiranraj K also wrote the story of the film, it is produced by Rakshit Shetty(main lead also) with GS Gupta under the banner Paramvah Studios. It releases in cinemas today in five Indian languages Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam.

Early reviews of the film are all positive, TOI gave the film 3.5 out of 5 stars, Filmibeat 3 stars out of 5, and Koimoi 3/5 stars, while movie critic and box office tracker Ramesh Bala gave the film 3.5/5, Kaushik LM gave 4.25/5 and Rajasekar 4 out of 5 stars. They praised the story, narration, and performance of the main leads.

Till Thursday evening, in the original version, Kannada Charlie had accumulated Rs 1.30 Cr from advances, followed by Telugu Rs 18 L, Hindi Rs 8 L, Malayalam Rs 5 L, and Tamil Rs 5 L. The film overall collects Rs 1.66 Cr through the advance bookings for day 1.
Box Office Collection
As per the early reports, 777 Charlie collected Rs 6.2 Cr nett from India on Day 1. The trend is positive for the film in the home market (Karnataka), but not in other states. However, we expect it will show good results from other states in further days as it is a film which will grow with word of mouth.
