777 Charlie has been winning the hearts of cinephiles, it is a heartwarming tale of love and friendship between a man and a labrador dog. The Sandalwood flick was opened with rave reviews and has been doing phenomenal business at the box office ever since it hit the theatres.
Following the amazing run of the film and positive reviews, recently CM Basavaraj Bommai watched the film at the screenings hosted by the team and couldn’t hold back his tears. Rakshit led further was granted tax exemption in Karnataka.
Most recently Tamil superstar Rajinikanth made a phone call to the main lead after watching 777 Charlie and heaped praise on his work in the film. The makers are currently basking in the success, they wouldn’t have thought of at the start, the kind of love their flick is receiving now.

Rakshit starrer showed slight growth on Thursday, it earned Rs 1.53 Cr to take the total India collections Rs 63.5 Cr. Now going by the early trends, it will see an increase in the collection over the third weekend. As per the reports, 777 Charlie collected Rs 1.7 Cr on Day 15 (Fri), total collections now stands at Rs 65.2 crores in India.

The small film, which is said to be made on a budget of Rs 20 Cr, has accumulated over Rs 62 crores in India so far. It is doing a phenomenal business in Karnataka, where it recently hit the half-century.
Now, as per the reports, 777 Charlie has accumulated Rs 52.3 Cr from Karnataka in two weeks, Rs 5 Cr in Hindi, and Rs 2.15 crores in the Malayalam language.
