Rakshit Shetty led 777 Charlie, which is made on a moderate budget, seems winning the hearts of the cinephiles. It is a story of a moving relationship between a man and a dog.
The film was opened with rave reviews from critics and movie lovers alike. Showing decent occupancy on the first day, the film opened with Rs 6.2 Cr+ nett at the box office India.
The film is made with a budget of around Rs 25 crores and going by the positive trend, it seems, it will soon cover the budget. It witnessed growth on the second day and raked in Rs 8 Cr nett to take the total India collections to Rs 14.2 Cr.
777 Charlie is raking in most collections from the home market (Kannada), as the actor is not popular up North, the Hindi collections are very poor.
Now, as per the early reports, it sees a surge in the collections on Day 3 also, all the credit goes to word of mouth magic, the film has been witnessing amazing occupancy, especially towards the evening and night shows, since day 1.
With overall 82.59% occupancy on Sunday, it collects Rs 10 Cr nett on day 3 (Sunday) to take the total first weekend collections to Rs 24.15 Cr.
