The Sandalwood adventure-comedy ‘777 Charlie’, after winning the hearts of the theatregoers, came to Voot Select for Kannada audiences, now other languages to available in a different platform . It is directed and written by Kiranraj K, and backed by Rakshit Shetty and GS Gupta under the banner Paramvah Studios.
Charlie is a heartwarming bond between a man and a dog, it follows the story of Dharma (portrayed by Rakshit Shetty) a loner, who works in a factory, he enjoys the seclusion and his routine life like going to the factory and coming home while eating, drinking beer, and smoking. This continues until he meets a female dog Charlie, who makes a complete changeover in his life and alters his viewpoint about the same.
OTT Release Date
The film had successfully run at box office, after winning the hearts of the theatre-goers, premiered on the Voot (Kannada) OTT platform from 29 July 2022. However, it is available only in the Kannada language there.

Rakshit’s film was opened with rave reviews from the critics and as per the media reports, the film has entered the coveted 100 crore club. Cinegoers have been showering their love on the film since the start. Prominent personalities like Rajinikanth, and Karantaka C.M Basavaraj Bommai also heaped praise on the film.
777 Charlie Budget
777 Charlie was released in theatres on 10 June 2022, it has been getting positive feedback from the audience which is clear from its box office collections. Achieving 100 crore feat just from the theatrical run is a big feat for a small film like Charlie. It is said to be made on a budget of around Rs 15-20 crores approx.

About the Film
Kiranraj K helmed and wrote the film, the dialogues written by Raj B Shetty and Abhijit Mahesh. Rakshit along with acting also produced the film with GS Gupta under the banner Paramvah Studios. The technical team includes, Aravind Kashyap is the cinematographer, Pratheek Shetty handled the editing and Nobin Paul gave the music.
