Mohammed Aamir Hussain Khan aka Aamir Khan belongs to a family whose contribution to the Hindi film industry is immensely worth it. His father Tahir Hussain was a film producer, produced so many hits like Caravan (1971), Anamika (1973), Madhosh (1974), Tum Mere Ho (1990), and Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke (1993).
His uncle Nasir Hussain and cousin Mansoor Khan were also top film producers and directors. So, movies and acting are in the blood of Aamir and he used to fond of this profession since his childhood.
Aamir’s first appearance on the silver screen as a child artist was way back in 1973 when he was seen in his uncle Nasir Hussain’s film Yaadon Ki Baaraat. Although, his first feature film was Ketan Mehta’s Holi (1984) officially his Bollywood journey started off with Mansoor Khan’s romantic drama Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988).
The film went on to become a big hit and the film industry got its chocolate boy as Aamir Khan. After this, Aamir’s image of a lover boy was seen in his next films like Dil (1990) and Akele Hum Akele Tum (1993). He received his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor for his performance in Raja Hindustani (1996).
