Miss Universe Sushmita Sen is back with another season of the blockbuster crime thriller drama television series Aarya. The previous two seasons of Aarya have been super-hit and now the audience is ready for another season. The series is created and directed by Ram Madhvani.
The series is produced by its’ creator Ram Madhvani’s Ram Madhvani Films along with Endemol Shine India. Aarya Hotstar Special series is the Hindi web- adaptation of the Dutch drama series Penoza. It marks the OTT debut as well as the comeback of a diva- Sushmita Sen after a long time.
The series made debut on June 19, 2022 with nine enthralling episodes directed by Ram Madhvani along with Sandeep Modi and Vinod Rawat, and received a highly positive response from viewers as well as public and was nominated for Best Drama Series at Prestigious “International Emmy Awards”.
Apart from this, Sushmita Sen received an award for Best Actress Female- at the Filmfare OTT Awards and also received 8 nominations. The 8- episode second season of the series premiered on December 10, 2021 and now the 3rd season has been announced.

The makers of Aarya Season 3 shared an update on Aarya 3. The official Twitter handle of Disney+Hotstar on Monday, January 30, 2023, gave an exciting update about Season 3 of Aarya. It releases a 15-second video clip with the caption “She is back, and she means business #HotstarSpecials #Aarya3, Now shooting. Coming soon.”
In the video, Sushmita Sen can be seen smoking a cigar and loading her gun. The video signifies that this season is also going to be extremely thrilling.

About the Series
The show features Sushmita Sen in the title role of Aarya Sareen, an independent woman as well as a loving and caring mother. She was quite naive but somewhere, was aware of her husband’s illegal occupation.
Things took a bad turn as her husband Tej Sareen, a Pharma baron was murdered in mysterious circumstances. to take revenge for her husband’s gruesome murder, Aarya joined the mafia gangs.
The show explores the journey of Aarya from being a simple woman to becoming a mafia queen. While doing so she also takes care of her three kids. Season 3 will pick up the story from where it was left off in season 2.
