Directed by Anand Chandra and Ram Gopal Verma, ‘Aasha Encounter’ is an upcoming Telugu movie, that is based on the true story of a horrific incident that took place in Shamshabad, Hyderabad on November 27, 2019! A young 26-year-old vet was gang-raped by a group of 4 drunk men, killed, and burnt alive!
The 4 accused were soon caught the next day through CCTV footage and tried escaping during the recreation of the crime scene. They snatched the guns from the police and opened fire on them but soon were killed in the encounter.
The nation along with the victim’s family welcomed the news and felt relieved that justice has finally prevailed with their daughter! The spine-chilling movie gives a glimpse of the whole incident and is sure to fill you with rage for all the accused involved!
Aasha Encounter Plot
The story depicts the two days that led to this horrific incident and the death of the young girl who was a resident of Shamshabad. She had completed her veterinary degree from a college in Rajendranagar Mandal.
The unfortunate event started on the eve of November 27, 2019, at 6.15 pm when Disha(imaginary name) parked her scooty at the Tondupally Toll plaza where the four accused noticed her. She left the scooty and went in a cab.
Meanwhile, the accused punctured the tires and waited for her to come back. At 9.15 pm when she returned back, on seeing her punctured tires she called her sister immediately.
This is when the accused took advantage and approached her, gang-raped, killed, and burnt her taking her corpse 27 km away in Shadnagar.
The police reached the crime scene by 3 am and soon they were arrested and when they tried to run away, all four of them were killed in an encounter. The film revolves around this very encounter that took place in Hyderabad.
Aasha Encounter Star Cast
We see Sreedhar Rao Chennamaneni playing the role of Bala, and Sonia Akula playing the role of the victim, Disha. The film also features Srikanth Iyengar, Sridhar Rao, and Praveen Raj in key roles.

Asha Encounter Release Date
The movie was scheduled theatrically on November 26, 2021, and the trailer will be released on October 31 at 9.30 but postponed later to 25 Dec and finally set to release on 1st Jan 2022.
