The recent release Chiranjeevi-Ram Charan starrer Acharya after gracing the silver screens is now all set to appear on your digital screens soon.
The action thriller film was opened with negative reviews where critics panned the film severely for the direction, screenplay, and the plot, though they praised the performance of both the main leads and the songs.
Some even went on to say that it is the worst film of Koratala Siva’s career, the effect of the negative reviews was also seen on the box office collection, as it enjoyed a decent first day but further saw a downtrend in its collections. Let’s how the digital viewers respond to the father-son starrer.
OTT Release Date
The action flick seems will soon be pulled from theatres following the poor performance of the film at the box office. Now, as per the recent reports, makers are now contemplating the digital debut of the film as soon as possible.
The post-theatrical streaming rights of the film have been acquired by the streaming giant Amazon Prime Video and as we have said earlier the film will be premiered on the platform within three weeks of release. Recently the streaming platform also confirmed it, via social media platforms.

Box Office
Acharya is said to be made with a budget of Rs 140 crore and the film has so far earned only Rs 75 crores gross. It has a break-even mark of Rs 132 crore and it needs Rs 84.63 crore more to become a profitable venture.
Siva’s directorial likely does not reach the BE mark as it fails to attract the footfalls at the ticket counters considering the poor BO performance.
Star Cast of Acharya
The film stars the father-son duo Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan in the main lead role, with Pooja Hegde as the main lead actress, other key characters are Sonu Sood, Jisshu Sengupta, Nassar, Vennela Kishore, Saurav lokehs, and Kishore.
Regina Cassandra and Sangeetha Krish is seen in the item numbers Saana Kastam and Laahe Laahe respectively.

The two and half minute trailer, show us a glimpse of Ram Charan, and Chiranjeevi facing the antagonists in their own way, it opens with Ram who seems to be a safeguard of a village called Padaghattam, where the people staunchly believe in the village’s Devi, while beating a hooligan Ram heard uttering dialogue that ‘how dharmsthali became the adharmsthali’, in between the trailer Chiranjeevi makes his entry past through a cave. Sood seems to play the villain’s role in the film, the trailer is filled with action sequences and amazing dialogues.
