Achcham Enbadhu Illayae is an upcoming Tamil action entertainer that is directed by A.L. Vijay, popularly known as Vijay, who is known for directing movies like Madarasapattinam, Deiva Thirumagal, Thaandavam, etc.
Vijay also directed the Kangana Ranaut-starrer bilingual (Hindi-Tamil) biographical drama film Thalaivii. He also wrote and produced the crime drama Chithirai Sevvaanam, which was released directly on Zee5 last year.
The upcoming film, Achcham Enbadhu Illayae, went on floor in October and has extensively been shot in London and Chennai. The shooting of the film is expected to wrap up in December.
Achcham Enbadhu Illayae Star Cast
The film stars actor Arun Vijay in the lead role, and it is the first time he is collaborating with director Vijay. The actor was recently seen in Sinam, in which he plays a cop, and now is waiting for the release of his highly anticipated spy thriller, Borrder.
The film stars actresses Amy Jackson and Nimisha Sajayan as the female leads. It marks Amy’s comeback after a short hiatus. This project is her third collaboration with director Vijay after Madarasapattinam and Thaandavam. She was last seen in a cameo role in Devi.
For Malayalam actress Nimisha Sajayan, Achcham Enbadhu Illayae is her debut Tamil film. She has earlier worked in a few films such as The Great Indian Kitchen, Oru Kuprasidha Payyan, and Chola, among others. The upcoming action entertainer stars Bharat Bopanna as the main antagonist.

The makers of the film have unveiled its first look on the occasion of lead actor Arun Vijay’s birthday today, Nov 19. While one of the posters features him in a stylish look donning a brown leather jacket and jeans, another one features him in the same outfit but with a little girl and carrying a bag on his shoulder. It seems the little girl is playing his daughter in the film.

About the Film
Beside being an action movie, Achcham Enbadhu Illayae is said to have scenes that are going to explore the relationship between a father and a daughter.
Talking about the film’s technical crew, GV Prakash is handling the music, and Sanjay K. Vijay handled the cinematography. The film is presented by Shri Shirdi Sai Movies and produced by M. Rajasekhar and S. Swathi under the banner of New March First Pictures. Surya Vamsi, Prasada Kotha, and Jeevan Kotha are serving as the co-producers of the film.
