Directed and written by debutant Raja Ramamurthy, Achcham Madam Naanam Payirppu is an upcoming Tamil coming-of-age comedy-drama film.
The film is produced by Trend Loud Production and edited by Keerthana Murali while it has the music and background score by Susha.
The movie is titled after the popular adages Achcham (Fear), Madam (Innocence), Naanam (Coyness), and Payirppu (Chastity), which are considered to be four ideal qualities that every Tamil girl must possess.
Achcham Madam Naanam Payirppu Star Cast
It stars Akshara Haasan, the second daughter of veteran actor Kamal Hassan and the younger sister of Shruti Haasan, in the female lead role.
The film marks the big break for the actress in the Tamil Film Industry after the 2017 action thriller film Vivegam and the 2019 action thriller Kadaram Kondan, where she acted in supporting roles.
AMNP is the fourth film of Akshara Haasan’s acting career, who made her acting debut with the 2015 Hindi comedy-drama film Shamitabh along with Big B Amitabh Bachchan and superstar Dhanush.
Along with Akshara Haasan, who is playing a 19-year old girl Pavithra, the film also stars these actors in pivotal roles:

Achcham Madam Naanam Payirppu Trailer Out
The makers of this comedy-drama film on Monday, March 21, 2022, released its nearly two-minute-long trailer, which features Akshara as Pavithra, a 19-year old naive and nerdy girl, who grew up in a very conservative family and don’t have anything knowledge related to sex.
The trailer also frames Pavithra’s friends who tempt her to try things related to sexuality. Basically, the trailer shows how important it is to give sex education to children instead of considering it as taboo.
Achcham Madam Naanam Payirppu OTT Release Date
Along with its trailer, the makers of the movie also revealed the release date, it is now confirmed that the film will have a direct OTT release on the leading streaming platform Amazon Prime Video on Friday, March 25, 2022.
