Directed by L Kalyana Krishnan, ‘Agilan’ is an upcoming Tamil film. The movie is a cop gangster drama that features Ponniyin Selvan fame Jayam Ravi in the main lead role. It marks Jayam’s 28th film.
The movie promises to feature the actor as the ‘King of the Indian Ocean.’ In Feb 2022, the first look poster of the movie was launched, the poster had the line-‘King of Indian Ocean’, rising to speculation that Jayam plays the role of a gangster on the coast.
Agilan Release Date
While it has been confirmed that Ponniyin Selvan 2 is hitting the theatres on April 2023, the makers of ‘Agilan’ recently announced the official release date. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on 10 March 2023.
Star Cast of Agilan
The movie features Jayam Ravi as an underworld gangster who is in charge of Indian coast smuggling. Actress Priya Bhavani is playing the female lead in the film as a cop. It also has Harish Uthaman, Tanya Ravichandran, and Hareesh Peradi in key roles.
