Directed by Boyapati Sreenu, and produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy, “Akhanda” is an upcoming Telugu action film, holding the banner of Dwarka creations. The film’s cinematography is handled by Ram Prasad while the music is rendered by Thaman S.
The movie features Nandamuri Balakrishna in the never-before-seen role of an Aghora, where he punishes everyone who indulges in evil deeds. He could be seen portraying a very strong character from the beginning till the very end!
Balakrishna plays the role of a staunch believer of Lord Shiva, who tries to become the savior of all humanity. After “Simha”, and “Legend”, Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu have come together with their collaboration “Akhanda”. The film’s editing has been handled by Kotagiri Ventakeswara Rao.

The film sees Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role of Aghora and Sreenu. Apart from him, Pragya Jaiswal plays the female lead, Shamna Kasim plays the role of Padmavathi, with Srikanth also seen in a key role in the movie.

Akhanda Release Date
The movie is scheduled to be released on December 2, 2021. Though it was to be released earlier this year, the release got delayed due to the pandemic.

The shooting of the film has been wrapped up and the whole crew is busy promoting the movie now. The makers are speculated to treat their fans with yet another teaser very soon!
Akhanda Pre-Release Earnings
Although the movie is yet to be released it is believed that it has already bagged Rs 57 Cr through its theatrical rights. For Nizam, the film scored a total of Rs 10 Cr, for Ceded Rights, the film bagged Rs 12 Cr, and for Andhra, it charged a whopping Rs 35 Cr, which sums the total of Rs 57 Cr.
Though the theatrical rights overseas are yet not released, there has not been any confirmation from the makers of the film!
