Netflix is all geared up to back with another south Korean series named All Of Us Are Dead, directed by Lee Jae-Kyoo, the show is based on South Korean streaming platform Naver’s digital comic Now at Our School(2009-11).
All Of Us Are Dead revolves around a zombie virus breakout, wherein a high school is the starting point for the virus’s eruption. Now, the students need to find their way out of the outbreak, or else they will going to get infected.
Star Cast of All Of Us Are Dead
It features Yoon Chan-Young (Chung -San), Park Ji-hoo (On-Jo), Cho Yi-Hyun (Nam-Ra), Park Soloman (Lee Soo-Hyuk), and Yoo In-Soo (Yoon Gwi-Nam) in key roles.
Other actors Bae Hae-Sun(Park Eui-Won), Ahn Seung-Gyun, Oh Hee-Joon, Lee Eun-Saem, Shin Jae-Hwi (Chang-Hoon), Kim Byung-Chul (Lee Byung-Chan), Yoon Byung-Hee, Jo Dal-Hawn(Jo Dal-Ho), Son Sang-Yeon, and Yang Han-Yeol are in the supporting roles.
All Of Us Are Dead Release Date
In April 2020, Netflix announced that they would be going to make an original series with director Lee and further in a few weeks they cast Park Ji-hoo, Cho Yi-Hyun, Park Soloman, and Yoo In-Soo for the series.
It will premiere on 28 January 2022 exclusively on the streaming platform Netflix.

All About the Series
All Of Us Are Dead is a coming-of-age Zombie Apocalypse show, directed by Lee Jae-Kyoo who has also worked in the same genre earlier in Beethoven Virus (2008) and Kim Nam-Su. Written by Chun Sung-il it is made under the banner of JTBC Studios with the collaboration of Film Monster. Netflix is a worldwide distributor.
Netflix’s Investment in Korean Content
However, the series is part of Netflix’s plan to develop the local content in South Korea so as to expand their reach in the country, and it paid off well. Recently the Korean Web Series Squid Game break the record of the streaming platform’s most-watched web series by topping the list.
Further, the streaming platform reportedly announced that they will invest 500 million dollars (in Indian Rupees 3709 crores) in Korean content.
