American Music Awards Date and Time
This year the event is scheduled for Sunday, November 21 at 8 pm (ET). They will be observed one more time at LA’s Microsoft theater. You can also watch it live on YouTube, FuboTV, Sling TV, and Hulu.
Hosts of American Music Awards 2021
Though the host for this year’s AMAs has not been announced yet it is surely going to be a single person. Taraji P. Henson was the host of last year’s ceremony. Although the event started with more than one host when it first started in the 1970s, it changed to have a single host in the year 1983 with Aretha Franklin handling the emceeing duties for the first time!
The 90s even witnessed hosts with a non-music background and soon picked up a trend of having a mix of musicians, actors, and other artists as hosts of the event. The years 2009-2012 even had the show hosted without a host at all!

Who will perform at The AMAs?
Though no performance schedule has been officially listed yet, since the event is based on popular music, the show is sure to feature some of last year’s biggest hits including that of Silk Sonic, Ed Sheeran Ariana Grande, BTS, Justin Bieber, Lil Nas X, Billie Eilish, Kid Laroi, Stallion, Brandi Carlile, Doja Cat, and Kacey Musgraves!

American Music Awards is a completely fans-based award show. So the more popular you are, the more votes you get! Last year, fans could vote online through their Twitter handles by using #AMAs, and via Billboard.com! they could vote not only just once but 10 times for their favorite artist.
