Do you remember the comic show The Archies? If yes, then get ready to get your 90s childhood memories revoked with Zoya Akhtar’s next project on the same, to be streamed on Netflix.
For the unversed, let us brief you about the comic characters of The Archies. The story was all about four friends, Archie Andrews, Jughead Jones, Veronica Lodge, and Betty Cooper. While Archie was always juggling between the two girls in a love triangle, Jughead was always after food!

This comic series of the 90s will witness a desi avatar with Zoya Akhtar directing it and will be produced by Tiger Baby and Graphic India.
Dil Dhadakne Do and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara director is excited to bring back the comic series to life and shared that Archies had been a part of most of her childhood and she is very excited to direct it. She took to her Instagram handle to announce the news!

In Nov 2021, the cast of The Archies confirmed, with the news being speculated that the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, daughter of late actor Sridevi, and Agastya Nanda, grandson of Amitabh Bachchan, will have their big Bollywood debut with the same!

While the news was taken down quite well with B-town, with actors like Sonakshi Sinha and Deepika Padukone congratulating Zoya, the audience didn’t back out to present their opinions of this being a project of nepotism, featuring all the star kids!
To the ones who are not aware, Suhana Khan had made her acting debut with a short 10-minute film named The Grey Part Of Blue, directed and written by Theodore Gimeno, where she played the lead role and the story revolved around the life of a young couple dealing with their relationship issues. Suhana was rained with good wishes and praises for her performance in the same!
Recently, Suhana also came out in support of ending colorism, where she opened up about how she was called ugly since she was 12 for having a darker skin tone. She took to her Instagram account and penned down her feelings about the same. She was applauded by everyone and was supported for having the courage to voice out her problem.
The star kid is now said to have her grand Bollywood debut with The Archies and we can only hope that she takes her place in the industry not as the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan but purely on the basis of her own talent and acting skills!
