American comedy drama television series Atlanta will soon be back with another exciting season. Created by Donald Grover, the series is ready to deliver its third season this month.
The critically acclaimed series has won many awards in the past including 2 Golden Globe Awards, 2 Primetime Emmy Awards, American Film Institute Awards, Critics’ Choice Television Awards, NAACP Image Awards, Producers Guide of America Awards, TCA Awards etc.
The debut season was premiered on September 6, 2016 and it comprised 10 episodes. The second season premiered 11 seasons and was released on March 1, 2018.
Now, the fans are very excited for the third season, for which they had to wait for four-long years. You will witness more fun and comedy in this upcoming season for sure.
Atlanta Season 3 Release Date
The makers of the series have finally released the release-date of its third season. Like the previous two seasons, this one will also premiere on American Pay Television Channel FX.
This season will premiere a total of 10 episodes, out of which the first two season will be aired on the channel on March 24, 2022 and the very next day will arrive on American streaming platform Hulu.
Before, its release, the first episode of this season will premiere at the 2022 South by Southwest (SXSW) on March 19, 2022.
Earlier, the Chairman of FX, John Landgraf said that the season would air in January 2021 but due to the production delay due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it didn’t go as per plan.
The series has already been renewed for is fourth season and its is under production. We could also expect it to be arrived in fall 2022.
Atlanta Season 3 Cast & Crew
The main characters who were the central figures in the previous seasons, will be back in their roles. The names of these stars are:
- Donald Grover as Earnest Marks/Earn
- Brian Tyree Henry as Earnest’s cousin, Alfred “Paper Boi” Miles
- LeKeith Stanfield as Alfred’s eccentric right-hand man, Darius Epps
- Zazie Beetz as Earn’s on-again-off-again girlfriend and mother of his daughter Lottie, Vanessa Keefer/ Van
This season is created and written by the lead actor Donald Grover who is also serving as the executive producer along with Paul Simms, Dianne McGunigle, Stephen Glover, Hiro Murai and Stefani Robinson.
It is bankrolled by RBA in association with 343 Incorporated and FXP.
Atlanta Season 3 Trailer Out
In October 2021, a teaser trailer for the third season was released and in December 2021 a new trailer was dropped. While the first two seasons focused on the titutlar City in Gerogia, this season will dramatically change the setting to Europe.
This time the makers released another exciting trailer of this season on March 4, 2022, which shows the cast on a cross continental adventure tour throughout Europe, where Paper Boi gets chased by British School Boys like he is a Beatle.
