Dhanush, Sara Ali Khan, and Akshay Kumar starrer romantic fantasy action film Atrangi Re after fetching an amazing response from the digital viewers is now gearing for its Television debut soon.
Anand L Rai’s directorial film tells the story of a young girl Manjari Sooryvanshi (portrayed by Sara Ali Khan), who along with doctor Vishu has been whisked away in order to find her childhood love Sajjad Ali Khan. The film has soothing songs composed by music mogul A.R Rehman.
OTT Release Date
Earlier Dhanush-Akshay starrer was supposed to release theatrically but in the wake of covid-19, makers made amends in the plan of the release of the film, further it was released digitally on 24 Dec 2021 on the OTT platform Disney+Hotstar.
Tv Premiere Date
Talking about the Tv debut of the film, the satellite rights of the film are acquired by the pay television channel SET Max, Atrangi Re will have its television premiere on 24 April 2022 at 12 PM on the channel.

Critics Review
It got mixed reviews from the critics, Hindustan Times gave the film 3.5 out of 5 stars, Rediff 3/5, Bollywood Hungama 3/5, Koimoi 3.5/5, and The Times of India gave the film 3.5/5 stars, they praised the story of the film and the performance of the main star cast.

Anand L Rai’s directorial is written by Himanshu Sharma, Anand also co-produced the film with Himanshu, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar under the banner T-Series Film, Colour Yellow Productions, and Cape of Good Films. On the technical front, Pankaj Kumar cranked the camera, Hemal Kothari was onboard for the editing and the music was composed by the Grammy awardee A.R. Rehman. The film has a runtime of 137 minutes or 2hrs 17minutes.
