Directed by James Cameron the epic sci-fi film Avatar 2 is doing great business at the Indian box office. The film took a record-breaking start and now heading for a strong first weekend of over 120 crores.
The South Indian market has emerged as the driving factor in terms of the film’s business. Avatar 2 minted Rs 22 Cr from the south market alone whereas Rs 17 Cr came in from the north, east, and west.

As per the trade reports, Avatar 2 earned Rs 42 Cr+ on Sat (day 2) to take the total 2-day collections over Rs 82 Cr in India. The film is sure to take a slight jump on Sun as well crossing the 100 Cr mark.

The advance trends are rock steady, the film managed to sell over 70L tickets worth Rs 23.14 Cr in the pre-sales for day 2 (Sat). The trends are very good for Sunday as well, it has already accumulated 17.25 Cr gross from the overall ticket sales for the third day (Sun), as of Dec 17 morning.
Avatar 2 To Cross 100 Cr on Sunday
Going by the trends, Avatar 2 will easily cross the 100 Cr nett mark on Sun (day 3) to become the 2nd all-time top opening weekend Hollywood movie at India box office.
