“Avatar: The Way of Water” is on a record-breaking spree at the box office. The film took 2nd all-time highest opening for a Hollywood film in India and registered a rock-solid opening weekend.
Going by the reports, It has crossed the 100 Cr nett mark on Sun, and with this, it has become the 2nd highest opening weekend Hollywood grosser of all time in India, after Avengers: Endgame (Rs 157.2 Cr).
Box Office Collection Day 3
As per the industry tracker, Taran Adarsh, Avatar 2 has collected over Rs 46 Cr on Sun (day 3). With this, the total 3-day earnings of the film have reached over Rs 129 Cr in India.
Adarsh also informed that Avatar 2 has registered massive growth on Day 3 (Sun) in mass pockets with south circuits setting new benchmarks.

Avatar 2 Advance Bookings Report
The film has been showing an amazing trend in pre-sales, it garnered Rs 20.94 Cr gross from the bookings for day 1, and Rs 23.14 Cr for day 2. And as per the BO trackers Sacnilk.com, it has registered a growth in adv. bookings for Sun as well. Avatar 2 sold overall tickets upwards of 9.13L worth Rs 27.13 Cr for day 3 (Sun).
Eying Doctor Strange 2 Lifetime
With the opening weekend collections, Avatar 2 has become the 7th highest-grosser Hollywood film of all time in India. It is sure to cross the lifetime biz of Doctor Strange 2 (Rs 130 Cr) today.
