Directed and written by Suni Kumar, popularly known as Suni, Avatara Purusha is an upcoming Kannada- language supernatural comedy drama movie, which is going to be released soon. Sheelam Kiran is co-writer of the film.
Suni is best known for directing commercial hit Simple “Agi Ondh Love Story” (2013) and along with that he had also directed movies like Bahuparak, Simpallag Innondh Love Story, Chowka, Bazaar, Sakath etc.
The film is bankrolled by Pushkara Mallikarjunaiah under the banner of Pushkar Films while if talking about technical work, William David has worked as the cinematographer. The film has music and background score by Arjun Janya.
The film is the first installment of the series and is given the tagline “Ashta Digbandana Madalaka”. The shooting of the film began on February 17, 2021 and was completed on September 21, 2022.
Avatara Purusha- Part 1 Star Cast
Sharan is the male lead in the film and he is playing the character named Karna. He is best known for his role in Nanda Kishore’s directorial romantic comedy film Adyaksha, which turned-out-to be a biggest commercial success of Kannada film in 2014.
The film will feature Crazy Boy and Raambo 2 fame Ashika Ranganath. She also appeared in movies like Mass leader, Mugulu Nage, Raju Kannada Medium, Thayige Thakka Maga, Kotigobba 3, Madhagaja, James etc.
Apart from Avatara Purusha, she has in the pipeline for this year such as Garuda, Raymo, O2 and an untitled movie with actor Atharvaa Murali.
The film also stars P. Sai Kumar as Siri, Sudha Rani, Bhavya as Susheela, Srinagar Kitty as Kumara, Balaji Manohar as Hinnudi and Sadhu Kokila.
Avatara Purusha Release Date
The release date of the film was postponed many times. Earlier, it was supposed to be released on May 28, 2021 but was postponed due to the deadly second wave that hit India during that time.
In September 2021, following the lockdown, after the remaining portion of the filming was completed, the makers announced that the film would be released on December 10, 2021.
However, the later plan was also canceled for unknown reasons. Now, the makers have announced the official release date of the movie. Avatara Purusha- Part 1 will be released theatrically on May 6, 2022.
Actor P. Sai Kumar, who is also playing the crucial role in the film also shared the release date of the film through a post on social media.

Avatara Purusha Teaser Out
