Aye Zindagi is an upcoming film, based on real life events and it is directed as well as written by Anirban Bose, who is well-known for his novels “Bombay Rains, Bombay Girls”, “Mice in Men” and “The Death of Mitali Dutto”.
Bose on his remarkable journey from being a doctor to turning writer-director shares about his upcoming directorial venture is a big departure for him from what he generally does. He said that being a physician, he is incredibly nervous as well as excited at the same time.
Aye Zindagi Star Cast
This medical drama film is highly-anticipated for various reasons, one of them is it features veteran South Indian actress and 3- time National Film Awardee Revathy’s in the lead role. The actress made her comeback in Hindi cinema in Adivi Sesh starrer biographical bilingual drama film Major, after 2015 film Gold Morning, Sunshine.
Actor Satyajeet Dubey of “Always Kabhi Kabhi” is playing a liver cirrhosis patient, Vinayak Chawla. The film also features an interesting mix of acclaimed Pan-India actors such as Mrinmayee Godbole, Hemant Kher, along with Shrikant Verma, Sawan Tank, Muskaan Agarwal and Pranjal Trivedi among others.
On technical front, Surjodeep Ghosh handled the cinematography and Sunraj Gunjan took care of editing work. The film has music by its director Anirban Bose and Surel Ingle.
Aye Zindagi Release Date
The film presented by Shiladitya Bora’s banner Platoon One Films in association with KDM Media, has finally gotten a release date. Aye Zindagi will be released in theatres across India and North America on October 14, 2022. Along with presenting it, Platoon One Films is bankrolling it too.

The release date of the film was announced along with a 2-minute long trailer, which promises a heartwarming story that is surely going to make moviegoers emotional. Based on an incredible true story, it follows the journey of Vinayak Chawla, a 26-year old liver cirrhosis patient.
It introduced Veteran actress Revathy’s character Revathy Rajan, who is a hospital grief chancellor, whose unlikely bond with Vinayak, rekindles his hope and faith in life and makes him believe in the power of humanity.
