Ayngaran is an upcoming Tamil action drama film which is written as well as directed as well as written by Ravi Arasu, who made his directorial debut with Atharvaa and Sri Divya starrer acclaimed sports drama film Eetti.
Ayngaran went on floor in 2017 and is the second directorial of Ravi Arasu. It is produced by B. Ganesh under the banner of Common Man Presents. Durairaj has served as art director in the film.
If we talk about technical work, Saravanan Abhimanyu has handled the cinematography while Raja Mohammed has served as the editor. The music rights of the film are acquired by Divo.
Ayngaran Star Cast
Musician-turned-actor G.V. Prakash Kumar is playing the male lead role in the film and has also served as the music composer in the film. He made his acting debut with 2015 horror comedy film Darling and there also, he composed the music scores of the film.
Apart from Ayngaran, he also composed music and background scores of movies such as Yaanai, Sardar, Vaadi Vaasal, Maaran and others.
Actress Mahima Nambiar is playing the female lead in the film. She was last seen in 2020 Tamil action thriller film Asuraguru, and will also feature in upcoming movies’ Oh My Dog and Ratham.
Along with the leading star cast, the film also features Kaali Venkat, Arul Das, Aadukalam Narein, Hareesh Peradi, Abishek, Iren and Siddharth in supporting roles.
Ayngaran Release Date
The makers of the movie have announced the release date and it is confirmed that the film will be released in cinemas on May 5, 2022.
The long delayed film was announced in 2017 and its shooting was wrapped up in 2019, but due to COVID-19, the makers had to postpone its release date multiple times. Earlier, the film was said to be released in January 2022 through the digital premiere, but was postponed.
The film have to face clash with Vijay Sethupathi starrer Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal and Yash’s KGF 2 mania, which are running successfully in theaters.
The film will be the second release of 2022, for G.V.Prakash Kumar as his another Tamil film titled Selfie, directed by debutant Mathi Maran was released on April 1, 2022. Earlier, his two films Bachelor and Jail were also released in December 2021, and performed well.
The long awaited movie is facing trouble as people are interested in KGF 2 or Doctor Strange, new movies this week in trouble.
