Babli Bouncer is an upcoming Hindi film directed by Bollywood’s national award filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, who in past delivered multiple acclaimed movies like Page 3, Traffic Signal, Chandani Bar, and many others.
Bhandarkar rose to fame with his 2008 Hindi drama film Fashion, starring Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, and Mugdha Godse. The film won multiple awards and nominations and was also listed as one of the best women-centric films in Bollywood by several publications.
Besides Fashion, in most of his films, Bhandarkar’s protagonists are females like Tabu in Chandani Bar, Raveena Tandon in Satta, Konkana Sen Sharma in Page 3, Bipasha Basu in Corporate, Neetu Chandara in Traffic Signal, and Kareena Kapoor in Heroine. Now one more name has been added to the list and that is actress Tamannaah Bhatia is going to be the main protagonist in the upcoming film Babli Bouncer.
Babli Bouncer Release Date
Backed by Fox Star Studios and Junglee Pictures, the film will also be released in Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions along with the original (Hindi) version. The film is all set for direct OTT release, on Disney Plus Hotstar from 23rd of September 2022.

Babli Bouncer Star Cast
Tamannah, who is a promising actress in the Indian film industry is going to play the titular role. Along with Hindi she also works in Tamil and Telugu films. She was last seen in 2021 black comedy thriller Maestro which is a Telugu remake of Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Andhadhun.
The actress is very excited to play the role of a female bouncer in the film, sharing her thoughts on the film she said that she fell in love with the female protagonist as Babli, which is a powerful character and she just can’t wait to dive into this whole new world.

Along with this film, Tamannaah has many projects in the pipeline for 2022-23 including Gurthunda Seethakalam, F3, Bole Chudiyan, Plan A Plan B, and Bhola Shankar and etc. The film also stars Saurav Shukla of Jolly LL, Abhishek Baja and Sahil Vaid in crucial roles.

Today on May 5, 2022, filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar took to Twitter to announce the wrap-up of his most-awaited Babli Bouncer. He shared a 10-sec video clip in which he along with Tamannaah and the rest of the team can be seen shouting “It’s wrap”.

The shoot of the film started on February 18, 2022, in Mohali, Punjab and after being continued for 42 days in 3 months, it was finally wrapped up in Mumbai. The filmmaker has also posted some stills showing the entire team celebrating the wrap-up of the shoot.
