The busiest actor of Bollywood Akshay Kumar aka Khiladi Kumar is all set to come again on the big screens with his highly buzzed action-comedy Bachchhan Paandey.
The actor had three releases in the year 2021, Bell Bottom, Sooryvanshi, and Atrangi Re (Direct to digital release) and reportedly he will be seen in 4 to 5 films including Prithviraj, Ram Setu, Raksha Bandhan, Mission Cinderella.
Bachchhan Paandey will mark his first film of 2022. It is directed by Farhad Samji, will mark the fourth collab between the duo (Ashay-Farhad) after Entertainment, Housefull 3, and Housefull 4.

The film was earlier spelled Bachchan Pandey, but recently on Feb 15 (Tuesday) Khiladi Kumar unveiling the new look poster of the film confirmed that the title spelling has been changed.
The new poster features Akshay Kumar with his scary look, the title’s new spelling, and the dialogue was also inscribed which says, “Mujhe Bhai Nahi Godfather Bolte Hain” translation, “They Don’t Call Me Brother they Call me Godfather” He shared the poster with the Trailer announcement.
Bachchhan Paandey is touted to be an adaptation of the 2014 Kollywood national awardee crime comedy film Jigarthanda, which was directed by Karthik Subbaraj, and stars Siddharth and Bobby Simha.

The film’s release date was rescheduled two times earlier owing to various reasons, Makers in Jan 2022 announced that Bachchhan Paandey would hit the theatres on 18 March 2022. And it will see its digital premiere on the leading streaming platform Amazon Prime Video.

Farhad Samji along with the direction also co-wrote it with Nischay Kuttanda, Bachchhan Paandey is financed by Sajid Nadiadwala under Sajid’s own production house Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
