Sandalwood star Dhananjaya starrer Kannada comedy-drama film Badava Rascal is all set for the Republic Day release this year.
Dhananjaya made his debut with the 2013 Kannada satire film “Director’s Special”, which was directed by Guruprasad.
For this satire film, he was conferred with Best Debut actor at the 3rd South Indian International Movie Awards.
He played the role of Jaali Reddy in Allu Arjun starrer Telugu action-drama Pushpa the Rise- Part 1 which ended up being the highest-grossing Indian Film of 2021 with a massive collection of 300 plus worldwide.
Badava Rascal Cinema Release Date
This comedy-drama had its theatrical release on December 24, 2021. It opened to positive reviews from the audience as well as critics.
It has already collected Rs. 20 Crore worldwide against the total budget of Rs five crore. With this commercial success, the film has become a blockbuster hit.

Badava Rascal OTT Release Date
After having a successful theatrical release, the makers of the movie decided to release it through digital streaming.
Those, who somehow didn’t have a chance to experience the ride full of entertainment through the big screen, can enjoy it through OTT from Republic Day.
This comedy-drama film will have an OTT release on Republic Day, 26th January 2022. It will stream on the online streaming platform Voot Select.

The story of Badava Rascal revolves around a middle-class boy Shankar, who has everything such as a caring girlfriend and a supportive family.
